DORCHESTER, S.C. (AP) -- A weekend accident at a dragway in Dorchester County has claimed the life of a North Charleston man.
The report from the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office identifies the victim of the Sunday night accident as 40-year-old Barry Lynn Wright.
Authorities say Wright was in a pickup truck that was nudged by another driver whose vehicle went into a spin. Witnesses said the pickup truck ended up flipping over a retaining wall.
The accident happened at Dorchester Dragway in the community of Dorchester, located about 15 miles northwest of Summerville.
