Free health screenings and a chance to land a job

EASTOVER (WACH) -- A local organization is trying to help reduce the state’s 11% unemployment rate with a job fair.

The Magic Johnson Community Empowerment Center in Eastover is holding a career and job fair Monday.

More than thirty employers will be on hand looking to hire.

The center is inside Webber Elementary School which is located at 140 Webber School Road in Eastover.

Attendees can also take advantage of free health screenings.

The fair takes place from 10am-5pm.
