Columbia (WACH) – The Gamecocks have dropped to 15th in this week’s AP and Coaches’ polls after losing to Arkansas 44-28 Saturday night.

South Carolina (7-2, 5-2 SEC) also falls to 2nd place in the SEC East, dropping a game behind Georgia.  The Gamecocks have one conference game left on the season against Florida in Columbia on Saturday.

The Gamecocks will need help from the Bulldogs if they want to return to the SEC Championship game.  USC must defeat Florida and then needs Georgia to lose one of their two remaining conference games to move back into first in the East.

Clemson is coming off a bye week jump to 9th in the AP Poll and 10th in the Coaches’ poll.  The Tigers look to clinch the ACC Atlantic Division this Saturday as they take on Wake Forest.
