ORANGEBURG, SC (WACH) -- For the second time in less then a year a Santee man has arrested for operating illegal gambling machines.

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says William Detyens was arrested on October 28th after deputies searched his boat and discovered seven gambling machines.

Officials say when the arrived to the boat a band was playing, guests were at the bar and the video poker machines were warm to the touch.

Sheriff Ravenell says "good times ended early Friday night. I say to the owner of the Mark Twain it wasn't legal then, it's not legal now".

Detyens was arrested in March also for operating illegal gambling machines.
