KERSHAW COUNTY (WACH)-- Kershaw County authorities say a Lugoff man is dead after a shooting early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to a residence at 63 Trinity School Road at 2:30 am Sunday and found a man shot several times.

Kershaw County Coroner Johnny Fellers has identified the victim as 36-year-old Daniel Lee Wood, Jr. Officials say he was shot three times.

Authorities say several people were outside drinking around a fire when Wood and a man got into an argument.

Investigators have identified a person of interest, but no formal charges have been made.

Investigators also say crack cocaine was found in several places at the scene.
