COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Midlands law enforcement officials have raised over $36,000 for the South Carolina Special Olympics.
During the Cops on Top of Doughnut Shops fundraiser the Richland County Sheriff's Department, Lexington County Sheriff's Department and Lexington, Columbia and USC police departments took donations to be donated to the organization.
Authorities accepted donations at Krispe Kreme stores on Knox Abbott Drive in Cayce, the Sunset Boulevard location in Lexington and the Clemson Road and Garner's Ferry locations in Richland County.
