Ben & Jerry's new flavor "Schweddy Balls"
COLUMBIA (WACH)-- Ben & Jerry’s is famous for its creative ice cream flavors, and a new one is creating quite the buzz.
It’s called “Schweddy Balls,” and it’s inspired by a classic “Saturday Night Live” skit starring Alec Baldwin, Ana Gasteyer, and Molly Shannon.
"Schweddy Balls" consists of vanilla ice cream with a hint of rum, loaded with fudge-covered rum and milk chocolate malt balls, the company announced on its website.
But some think the new flavor’s name is tasteless. The group “One Million Moms” is now protesting the ice cream. The group calls the name “vulgar” and wants consumers to boycott the flavor.
