COLUMBIA (WACH) -- After ten years, many people still have vivid memories of where they were when they first learned the news of the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States.

Just like when U.S. astronauts landed on the moon, President John. F. Kennedy, Jr. was assassinated and Pearl Harbor was attacked, thoughts of the morning of 9/11/2001 remain clear for a lot of people.

WACH Fox News wants to know where you were when you first learned the news that day.

Several people have already responded when we asked the question on Facebook and Twitter.

Leave your memories below and then check out our special Remembering 9/11 page with a look back over the past decade, along with what people in the Midlands and across the country are doing to honor those who lost their lives in the events.
