COLUMBIA (WACH)—A jewelry heist gone awry, paranoia, double crosses, and gunplay.  No, that is not a story ripped from the wire, but a brief overview of the stage adaptation of the Tarantino film Reservoir Dogs, which opened at The Loose Cockaboose Thursday night.

The play, presented by The Horizontal Vortex Theater Group, follows the storyline of the original 1992 film, involving the planning of, and aftermath of a botched diamond heist.  Fans of the movie will recognize many of the characters, including Mr. Blonde, Mr. Brown, Mr. Orange, and Mr. Pink, as they try to discover which one of them betrayed the rest and went to the police.

Reservoir Dogs has shows through September 10, all at The Loose Cockaboose on South Stadium Road in Columbia.  The plays Facebook page has ticket information, details about the cast, and more information about the theater group.
