WEST COLUMBIA (WACH) -- A water main break in West Columbia has prompted officials to issue a boil water advisory for some residents.
The rupture happened near the Charleston Highway and impacts the following customers:
L Avenue
Hart Street
Beckham Street
Hillside Street
1500 and 1600 blocks of F Avenue
1300, 1400 and 1500 blocks of Charleston Highway
After service is restored, customers are urged to boil water to be used for consumption for at least one minute.
The advisory will remain in place until further notice.
