Glass truck flips on I-77 North, interstate blocked

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- A truck hauling sheets of glass flipped on Interstate 77 north bound at Bluff Road Wednesday morning during peak traffic.  The accident blocked several lanes for hours as broken glass was cleaned from the roadway.

SC DOT is reporting all North bound lanes are now open, but still congested.  Drivers were asked to use detours earlier.

According to EMS driver of the truck is okay.
