ORANGEBURG (WACH) -- An Orangeburg County corrections officer has been arrested after a fight with her sister.

Officials say 30-year-old Natasha Livingston burned her sister on her face and arms with a hot steam iron during a fight.

The 20-year-old victim suffered 2nd degree burns.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell calls this one of the most horrific cases of sibling fighting he's seen.

“In my 24 years in law enforcement, this ranks as one of the more horrific cases of siblings fighting with such devastating injuries," Ravenell explains.  "This is an unfortunate incident that escalated quickly into a criminal act that could have been avoided.”

Livingston is out of jail on a $25,000 bond.
