CHARLESTON (AP) -- Police say a man has been charged with felony DUI after driving the wrong way on the interstate near downtown Charleston and causing a fatal crash.
Authorities say 19-year-old Samuel McCauley was driving the wrong way on Interstate 26 westbound at around midnight Saturday when he crashed into another car driving the other direction.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital.
Authorities say the other driver died from her injuries. Her name has not been released.
It wasn't known if McCauley had an attorney or when he would appear in court.
