COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Kids in Richland County enjoyed there summer by learning to make the right choices.

Friday wrapped up the annual summer camp "Right Choices Jam" held by the Richland County Recreation Commisssion.

This year's theme "To Thine Own Self Be True" focused on self esteem, self identity, and self reflection.

Commission director Tia Stewart said this year's camp will enlighten teenagers about the effects of making positive, choices in life.

"I think it is essential for teens to have this type of event so they can collaborate with other teens," says Stewart "they can have that socialization skill and they will also be able to gather new information, new learning, so they can continue to grow and develop."

The kids performed skits and dances and were also treated to, motivational speaker, Demestress Bell.
