RICHLAND COUNTY (WACH) -- A murder suspect is now in custody following a shooting that took place back in April in Richland County.

Richland County officials say 21-year-old Wayne Lamar Mobley, also known as Chicken Wing, shot and killed Bobby Edwards, Jr. at 1609 Winterwood Road.

Mobley was bonded out of jail last fall following two counts of murder, armed robbery and trafficking cocaine.

He was arrested Thursday at the Delta Motel on Augusta Highway in West Columbia around 11 a.m. thanks to a community tip. The Richland County Sheriff's Department worked in conjunction with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department and the state Law Enforcement Division.
