ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) -- York County officials say a worker has died after collapsing at the site of the future Rock Hill operations center.
Coroner Sabrina Gast told the Herald of Rock Hill that 39-year-old Jonathan White collapsed around 10 a.m. Monday and was unresponsive when found by co-workers. White was taken to Piedmont Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Gast says the Rock Hill man died of natural causes from a medical condition.
The city says White had been an employee since 1993 and was a maintenance superintendent at a wastewater treatment plant.
