FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) -- Deputies have found the bodies of two women inside a Florence home.
Florence County Sheriff's Capt. Mike Nunn says out-of-town relatives asked officers to check on the home after calling and getting no answer. Deputies found the bodies inside at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies say they think a struggle happened inside the house, and they are treating the case as a homicide. Authorities say a child inside the home was not injured and is now staying with a family friend.
Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews said an autopsy would be performed to determine how the women were killed and how long their bodies had been inside the home. The women's names have not been released.
