COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Officials say a Columbia store owner opened the doors Tuesday morning to find an armed robber already inside.

Columbia police say the male suspect entered from a neighboring building that is under construction at Sally Beauty Supply on Patterson Road near Wal-Mart on Garner's Ferry Road.  The incident happened around 9 a.m.

The suspect threatened the owner and made away with an undisclosed amount of money.

He is described as a black male, between the ages of 25-30 years old, around 6’' to 6’1”, with a medium build, wearing dark clothing.

Police are asking for your help finding the suspect.  If you have any information that may help investigators you're urged to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
