Authorities release sketch in armed robbery case

NEWBERRY (WACH) -- Newberry County Sheriffs deputies are looking for two armed robbers.

Authorities say Friday morning two black males entered the back door of El Tipico restaurant located on Kendall Road just outside the City of Newberry. Investigators say the men got away with an unknown amount of cash. Authorities say the suspects were headed toward a wooded area behind the store. The bloodhound team was called in to follow the trial. Investigators have released a sketch of the first suspect.  

Authorities have listed some information about the second suspect below:

The second suspect was described as a black male, with a “Scream” mask on, 6’0” in height, approximately 190 to 200 pounds wearing a black in color v-neck long sleeve t-shirt, and black jeans with a emblem or the word Mecca in blue letters on the rear pocket of the pants. This suspect also had a semi automatic pistol of an unknown color.
