GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- A Mauldin business owner has been arrested after a cosmetic injection into a woman's buttocks sent the client to the hospital.

Thirty-five-year-old Michelle Madrid Roca has been charged with practicing medicine without a license.

Police say Roca owns the Coconuk Boutique, which she closed recently.

Police say Roca arranged an illegal cosmetic procedure at her shop with a foreign doctor who is not licensed to practice in this country.

Detective Jason Peterson said the client had an injection March 10 and was eventually treated at Greenville Memorial Hospital in a coma.

Peterson says the woman was injected with what was supposed to be botox. He says doctors said her symptoms were similar to silicone implants ruptures. Her name was not released.

It was unclear if Roca has a lawyer.
