COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Crews rushed to clean-up an 18-wheeler accident on I-26 that closed westbound lanes Friday afternoon.

Officials say the tanker truck turned over near mile marker 98 after one of the front tires blew out.

Columbia/Richland Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins says the tanker was leaking some sort of fruit juice.

Authorities closed all westbound lands and rerouted traffic using exits 97 and 101.  Eastbound traffic was down to one lane.  Jenkins encouraged those motorists to also use the detour to avoid being stuck in traffic.

No injuries were been reported as a result.
