AIKEN, S.C. (AP) -- Azaleas, gardens and Thoroughbred horses are on the calendar for the South Carolina Agricultural Council's spring tour of Aiken
The council is holding its Spring Agricultural Tour on Thursday in Aiken.
The daylong tour starts with a visit to the Aiken County Museum, followed by lunch, a trolley tour and a visit to Dogwood Stables, a popular training ground for Thoroughbred horses.
Attendees will also see Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame and Hopeland Gardens, a 14-acre complex of camellias, azaleas and other Southern favorites surrounded by a serpentine brick wall.
