COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Police say a woman is behind bars Sunday after she's accused of stabbing someone to death. Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott says Brithney Ann Goodwin got into an argument with someone inside an apartment unit located at 2002 Bailey Street early Sunday morning.

She’s accused of stabbing a male victim in chest.

The victim was sent to Palmetto Richland Hospital where he later died.

Goodwin is being held at the Alvin Glenn detention center and faces a murder charge.
