AIKEN (WACH) -- Aiken Public Safety officers arrest a man after officers say they received a tip about a suspicious person in the Center South parking lot along Silver Bluff Road in Aiken.

Authorities say Jordan Howard was taken into custody without incident.

Police say Howard is wanted in connection to Friday morning’s Huddle House robbery in Aiken as well as Thursday night’s robbery of the Waffle House in Clearwater, SC.

Authorities say during the Huddle House robbery, the suspect demanded money from an employee and acted as if he had a weapon hidden under his shirt.

The suspect got away with an unknown amount of money.
