COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina State Treasurer Curtis Loftis is wrapping up a statewide tour promoting financial literacy programs for students.
Loftis visits Congaree Wood Early Childhood Center in West Columbia on Friday.
Loftis says it's important to talk to the state's future leaders about saving and managing money. He's working with Visa Inc., which is giving schools table computers loaded with financial literacy software.
Loftis started the tour with stops in Charleston and Myrtle Beach on Wednesday.
