CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- The man who once was director of national intelligence and who directed the National Security Agency is speaking at a conference on the South Carolina coast.
Mike McConnell, now an executive vice president of Booz Allen Hamilton, speaks Wednesday at the annual Homeland Security Innovation Conference sponsored by the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
The theme of the meeting is how technology and innovation have changed security since the 9/11 attacks almost a decade ago.
The two-day conference featuring national security experts includes topics ranging from border, ports and transportation security to domestic attacks and cyber security.
