COLUMBIA (WACH) -- South Carolina Republican voters may not approve of the President's job in office, but over 40 percent say they think he could be re-elected in 2012.
A Winthrop University poll released Tuesday shows 43 percent of conservatives think President Obama has a chance at getting re-elected to the White House. At the same time, over 86 percent say they disapprove of the President's handling of his job.
When it comes to the future of the U.S. 62 percent of everyone that responded say they don't like the direction the country is headed.
Thirty-three percent say the financial crisis should be the country's top priority, followed by budget and debt, politicians and government and jobs or unemployment.
As for the 2012 presidential GOP candidates, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee was the most liked with 18 percent. He was followed by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.

The survey was conducted over the phone last week with 1363 registered voters in South Carolina. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 2.65 percent.
