RICHLAND COUNTY (WACH) -- A boil water advisory has been issued for the Franklin Park Subdivision in Lower Richland County.

The Richland County Utilities Department says the alert is just a precaution after a water line broke and dropped pressure to customers.

Residents are encouraged to boil any water planned for consumption for one minute until further notice.
