Police looking for suspect in Colony Apartments murder

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott is asking for the community’s assistance for information involving a murder investigation.

Columbia Police responded to Palmetto Health Richland at approximately 9:45 p.m. April 6th after a male victim entered the hospital with a single gunshot wound to the neck.  The victim later died from injuries suffered from the gunshot.

Columbia Investigators have determined that the shooting took place outside in a parking lot in front of building 1500 at the Colony Apartments on Bailey Street. 

Chief Scott asks that anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.  Your anonymous tip could earn you a cash reward of up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
