CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson University is hosting the German ambassador to the United States for discussions on international business and automotive research.
Ambassador Klaus Scharioth is participating in a discussion Monday about business opportunities between Germany and South Carolina. He's also taking questions as part of a discussion on trans-Atlantic relations.
On Tuesday, Scharioth is touring Clemson's International Center for Automotive Research, where he'll address a conference on automotive technologies.
BMW Manufacturing president Josef Kerscher is giving a keynote address at that conference.
