COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Investigators are looking into an early morning fire on Two Notch Road that killed one person.

The blaze happened around 6:30 Monday morning on the 73rd block of Two Notch Road in the O'Neil Court area.

Coroner Gary Watts says the fire happened at an abandoned storage trailer in the woods.  The Richland County fire marshal says the fire started in a wheelbarrow used to keep the occupants warm.

Crews had to cut through a fence to get to the small trailer.

One person was able to get out of the burning structure.

Officials are still working to identify the victim, a 40 to 50 year old female, by searching for x-rays and other records.
