COLUMBIA (WACH) -- USC hosted its 12th annual World Night Friday.  The event is the largest multi-cultural event held on campus each year.

The evening featured international foods, a fashion show, live music and dance performances.

“It is really exciting for these students to see people want to get to know more about where they are from and that they are interested in learning about the different cultures that are showcased in Columbia and at USC,” says Natalie Cruz with USC’s International Student Services.

Organizers were pleased with Friday’s turnout as World Night was sold out of its 500 tickets.

More than 1,200 international students from some 100 countries attend USC.
