ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) -- Police are looking for a person who apparently used counterfeit money to pay court fines in Rock Hill.

The Herald of Rock Hill reported Thursday that six fake $100 bills were used at Municipal Court to pay the fines.

The bills were returned from a bank after it was discovered they were counterfeit.

The clerk of court alerted police and officials are seeking the person who used the bills to pay fines. Officials said they think the payment was made on Friday.

The person's name has not been released. No arrest has been made.
