GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Federal Communications Commissioner Mignon Clyburn is speaking to a group of Democratic women in Greenville.

Clyburn is the guest speaker at the Democratic Women of Greenville County's meeting Monday.

Clyburn served as a South Carolina public utilities regulator for 11 years before being confirmed as an FCC commissioner.

She is the daughter of U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn, the third-ranking Democrat in the House and South Carolina's lone Democrat in Congress.
