CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Two noted authors who were in the same class at The Citadel are returning to their alma mater for a lecture and a book signing.

Pat Conroy and John Warley return to campus on Tuesday. They graduated in 1967.

Following a talk, Conroy signs copies of his new book "My Reading Life." Warley signs copies of his book released last year entitled "Bethesda's Child."

Both writers live on the South Carolina coast.
