HANAHAN, S.C. (AP) -- A company in Hanahan plans to hire between 75 and 100 workers to provide warehouse services for the new Boeing plant.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reports that New Breed Logistics will store and deliver parts from suppliers to the aircraft manufacturer.

The Boeing plant is supposed to open in North Charleston this summer. New Breed is also working with Boeing's plant in Everett, Wash.

Sales and marketing vice president Joe Hauck says the company will begin hiring in May. He says the plant eventually could have 150 employees.

Hauck says the company is spending $7 million to set up the operation.
