COLUMBIA (WACH) -- An insurance giant that promised one hundred jobs to the Midlands now looks for potential employees.

AFLAC held a career fair at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center Saturday.

Hundreds coming out with resumes in hand.

The fair comes on the heels when new numbers show that South Carolina’s jobless rate is down from 10.9 percent to 10.5 percent in January.

AFLAC is a fortune five hundred company rated as one of the best places in America to start a career.
