Columbia wellness center holds weekend health fair

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- A wellness center in Columbia is opening its doors for free during a three-day health fair.

The Charles R. Drew Wellness Center is kicking off Community Wellness Weekend on Friday. Organizers say people can access the center for free all weekend long. That includes access to the basketball court as well as cardio and weight equipment. There will also be games and water activities in the Olympic-sized swimming pool.

There are health fairs Friday, Saturday and Sunday with massage demonstrations, nutrition information and giveaways.
