Drop off coats at Starbucks to help keep those in need warm this winter

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Three groups in the Midlands are coming together to help keep people warm this winter.

The Salvation Army, Starbucks and Two Men and a Truck have teamed up for the coat drive which kicked off Friday.

Over the next several weeks, you can drop off new or lightly used coats and jackets at eight Starbucks locations around the Midlands.

Those locations include:

· Saluda Avenue & Harden Street (747 Saluda Avenue)
· Forest Drive & Trenholm Road (4840 Forest Drive, Suite 15A)
· Garners Ferry & Old Woodlands Roads (6080 A Garners Ferry Road)
· Columbiana Centre (100 Columbiana Circle #1040)
· Two Notch Road (Village at Sandhill) (163-8 Forum Drive)
· Gervais and Lincoln Streets (829 Gervais Street)
· Village at Sandhill (480-6 Town Center Place)
· Harbison Boulevard and Columbiana Drive (276 Harbison Blvd)

The boxes are provided by Two Men and a Truck and the Salvation Army will deliver the coats to those in need.

The coat drive runs through the end of March.
