Gov.Haley Tours S.C. Emergency Management Divsion

WEST COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Gov. Nikki Haley toured the South Carolina Emergency Management Division Wednesday afternoon.

The governor was given a guided tour of the West Columbia facility. The Director of the facility briefed the governor on the state's Incident Monitoring System and she was also shown the layout of the Governor's Situation Room.

The Emergency Management Division is responsible for the state's self defense and disaster recovery efforts.
