COLUMBIA (WACH) -- As the chaos in Egypt continues to unfold some in the Midlands are supporting protestors who want Hosni Mubarak to step down.

Saturday afternoon the Carolina Peace Resource Center hosted a “Solidarity with Egypt’s Democracy Movement vigil.”

The event took place at the Corner of Greene and Harden Streets in the Five Points area.

Protestors say they want Mubarak out and call on the US government to withdraw support from the Mubarak regime.
