West Columbia water boil advisory lifts

WEST COLUMBIA (WACH) -- The City of West Columbia has ended the boil water notice for water customers in Brookwood Subdivision including Abelia Court, Wisteria Drive, Heather Drive and Brookwood Circle and the following streets: Price Circle, Carroll Drive, Ziegler Road, Glenn Street, Steele Drive, Smith Street, Knapp Street, Sox Street, Westhaven Drive and all even numbered addresses from the 1700 to the 2100 blocks of Airport Boulevard.  The water supply has been thoroughly tested and boiling water is no longer necessary. The advisory originally went out Thursday after a water line broke.
