COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Families are invited to celebrate the inauguration of Gov. Nikki Haley at an indoors event at the State Fairgrounds.

Haley's rescheduled "Family Fun Night" starts at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the Cantey Building.

The event was initially set for the night before Haley's swearing-in ceremony. But remnants of a storm that blanketed much of the state with snow and ice caused her to postpone it.

Tickets are $20 per adult. Children under 18 get in for free.

The entertainment will include the Blue Dogs from Charleston. The Southern fare will include barbecue chicken, fried chicken and ribs. Those in attendance can decorate flags to send to troops overseas.

Haley asks that people bring a new children's book to donate to the nonprofit Reach Out and Read.
