COLUMBIA, S.C. (January 11, 2011, 6:15 a.m.) - Because of inclement weather, Governor Mark Sanford has closed State government offices in 24 counties with others opening on a two hour delay. 

State Government Offices in the following 24 counties will remain CLOSED Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011: 


Abbeville

Anderson

Cherokee

Chester

Chesterfield

Dillon

Edgefield

Fairfield

Greenville

Greenwood

Kershaw

Laurens

Lancaster

Lexington

Marlboro

McCormick

Newberry

Oconee

Pickens

Richland

Saluda

Spartanburg

Union

York

State Government Offices in the following  22  counties will operate on a two hour delay:

Barnwell

Beaufort

Berkeley
