Cayce announces new city manager

CAYCE (WACH) -- The city of Cayce has a new city manager.

Mayor Elise Partin and the council appointed Rebecca Rhodes to the position Thursday.

Rhodes was formerly the Manning City Administrator and attended the University of South Carolina.

Mayor Partin said Rhodes' city planning and public administration experience is a rare combination.

Rhodes was selected out of more than 20 candidates.
