COLUMBIA (WACH) - The Columbia Police department hosting a DARE winter wonderland party Wednesday.  School resource officers, along with members of the Columbia Police and Richland County Sheriff's department were on hand to promote good fun in a drug free environment.

"It's not just about drugs within DARE, it's about character building," says Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott.  "It has a lot of different aspects that we just want to make sure we put in our kids."

The party included a moon bounce house, games, and pizza from Cici's.
