Lexington (WACH)- The Christmas holiday is officially underway at Lexington Medical Center. Tuesday they lit their tree decorated with red and gold ornaments and sang carols with children from LMC’s Child Development Center.

The hospital's Share Your Love with a Light fundraiser is hosted by the volunteer auxiliary. This is 26th year they’ve held the concert event.

For five dollars you can put a light on the tree in memory of or in honor of someone. Proceeds help indigent patients.

Last year the auxiliary raised four-thousand dollars. If you'd like to buy a light call 791-2573.
