COLUMBIA (WACH) -- For those folks who didn't make it to Atlanta local venues like Five Points and Vista were the place to be.
Several businesses made sure fans didn't miss a beat by having the game on the flat screens.
"Continue to stop Cam. You got to stop him,” says a Gamecock fan.
Just when things seemed to be picking up for USC there was an unforgettable play just before half time.
Fans were also at Wild Wing Cafe but one by one they started to leave with their heads down.
"Seems like our offense wasn't that great, like usually it’s always good. Defense was really hurting maybe next year is a brand new year,” says one Gamecock fan.
"The secondary let us down man. I don't know man the secondary we shot ourselves in the foot with that Hail Mary and it was downhill after that," adds another.
"Man we should have went to Alshon Jeffery a lot more this game. The defense didn’t step up," replies another fan.
WACH Fox News got a chance to speak with a former Gamecock player Brian Elam.
"First of all we should have attacked Cam Newton and the Auburn offense. We needed to jump on them from the beginning”, Elam says.
And although the Gamecocks missed the mark fans say there’s always next year.
"We had a big year this year. We dropped a lot of big games but I think we have alot to build on. We have a lot of players coming in and we are starting to learn to win the big games now in the SEC”, says Brian Elam.
