COLUMBIA (WACH) - Gamecock fans are gathering in Atlanta and Columbia for the SEC Championship game.
South Carolina fans already have tailgates set up near the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Meanwhile the football team has arrived in Atlanta and hit the field for their first practice Friday afternoon.
WACH Fox will have complete coverage from Columbia and Atlanta as the Gamecocks get ready to take on the Auburn Tigers on Saturday for the SEC Championship.
Fans not making the trip to Atlanta on Saturday can still watch the Gamecocks SEC Championship Game surrounded by thousands of USC fans.
This week, USC announced plans to host a viewing party of the big game at the Colonial Life Arena.
The SEC Title game will be playing on the scoreboard at the arena and USC fight songs will be played during commercial breaks.
Many Gamecock students say they are attending the event.
The arena will open at 3:00 pm on Saturday for the 4:00 pm kickoff.
USC says the event is free and concessions will be available.
Alcohol will not be sold and is not allowed.
