Police looking for suspected Wal-Mart theives

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Officials are asking for your help finding two people suspected of stealing money from a Midlands Wal-Mart.

Investigators say the man and woman pair walked off with a deposit bag containing a large amount of money from the Forest Drive store.

Surveillance shows the man grab the bag from the cash register then walk out with the woman.

The male suspect is described as a 30-40 year old black man who is about 5 foot eight inches, weighing around 220 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and white shoes.  The woman, a black female, was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.

Officials ask anyone with information that may help their investigation to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
